Volunteer

Our convention is entirely run by volunteers, so we can always use another pair of paws. For those with only a few spare hours to contribute during the con, stop by the operations office to see how you can help out. Every task is important!

Staff

Have more time to contribute? Have special skills? Want to be part of a team? We are looking for people with a wide range of experience to help with pre-event planning and coordination. This is still volunteering, but with more responsibility! If you’re interested, please apply by emailing volunteer@furlandia.org. We'll also be posting an application form on this page soon. We look forward to meeting you!

Benefits

Every volunteer gets the warm fuzzy feeling that comes from helping out, as well as access to our staff lounge. Depending on how long you volunteer during the convention, we also offer a few additional benefits:

Meetings

Most staff meetings are held virtually and are open to anyone who is interested in participating. If you are interested in joining the team, this is a great way to get a feel for what we do!

Immediate Openings

We have immediate need for experienced people in the following roles:

• Safety and Guest Relations
• Event Theming and Decor

DJ at the Furlandia Dances

Applications for DJs are open! We have two evenings of dances, and we need awesome performers to make it happen! Apply to DJ here.
