Vendor Rules
All vendors and their assistants in any vendor space must abide to the following rules. Any vendor caught to be in violation of these rules may have their application denied, their table revoked without a refund, and/or expulsion from the event.
All vendors and their assistants must also follow the Code of Conduct.
Authorized Vendors
During the event, only vendors who have been approved and authorized by the Marketplace Lead and Business Executive leads are allowed to sell goods at Furlandia, within the designated vending spaces. Goods may not be sold throughout any part of the convention space, except for the Marketplace during operating hours. Any attendee attempting to vend without authorization will be asked to stop and may be removed from the convention.
Communications
Please use an email address that you check regularly when applying, as this will be our primary method of contacting you. We are not responsible for the consequences of lost or unreceived emails. If you're expecting an email from us, make sure you check your Junk/Spam folder, and add dealers@furlandia.org as a trusted contact.
It is your responsibility to keep an eye on your email. We will send out several messages on our social media (Telegram, Bluesky, Instagram, etc.), as well as our website, letting you know when deadlines are approaching. If you don't get any response, whether accepted, rejected, or waitlisted, by the timeline mentioned once applications close, please email with any questions/concerns.
You may hand out flyers, but you must get approval from Con Ops to post flyers on the walls.
Membership
All vendors must be pre-registered and fully paid by the deadlines, including their membership and table fees.
Upon going through the application process, you will be prompted to select an attendance membership, however no payment is required unless your application is approved. If and when your application is approved, you'll receive further instructions to pay for your membership and table fees.
If you have an assistant, your assistant(s) must also have a paid membership.
Payment / Refunds
No payment for either the membmership or table fees are required to apply. Payment will only be required if and when an application is accepted.
All approved vendors must be pre-registered and fully paid by the deadlines, including their membership and table fees. If you have not paid by the deadline, you will lose your table. There will be no exceptions.
If you cancel your table, regardless of the circumstances, your table will be immediately forfeited and no refund will be given.

Every assistant must have a paid membership and be added to the table information.
Logistics
All Marketplace spaces are for all three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) of the convention.
The marketplace set-up is scheduled for Thursday, and tear-down is scheduled for Sunday evening. Specific times will be announced prior to the event. Furlandia staff are generally unable to help you carry items or assist with set up or tear down.
If you do not arrive for setup on Thursday and have not communicated with or made arrangements with the Marketplace Lead and/or the Business Executives, your table will be forfeited and you will receive no refund.
Displays and merchandise may remain on Dealer's Den tables overnight at your own risk. The entry doors will be locked; however, Furlandia cannot guarantee security.
You are responsible for keeping your area tidy and presentable, and cleaning up after yourself each day. Aisles must be kept free of tripping hazards, both in front of your table and behind.
Due to restrictions by the hotel, food and drink are not allowed at the Dealer's Den or Artist's Alley tables.
Tables are non-transferrable and non-refundable. Subletting, or sharing your table with another dealer, is strictly prohibited.
Content Rules
Everything you sell or display must be your own work. AI-generated products are NOT permitted.
In the Artist Alley and Dealer's Den, everything you display openly must be rated PG-13 or lower, and you must ensure customers are of legal age before showing them adult materials.
An item is not PG-13 if it:
- Contains exposed genitalia or representations thereof
- Depicts a sexual act
- Depicts realistic violence where the victim is shown to be severely injured
- Depicts any other content that is unsuitable for younger viewers as determined by law
In the NSFW Dealer's Den, you may openly display NSFW content as the entire area is private and requires ID verification to enter.
Items whose possession, sale, or transportation across state borders constitutes a criminal act are strictly prohibited. Possession, sale, or display or any such item will result in immediate expulsion from Furlandia and referral to law enforcement.
Dealer's Den staff have final authority on what constitutes acceptable content in the Dealer's Den. Decisions can be appealed to the Dealer's Den lead, then to the Furlandia Business Executive, and finally the Furlandia Chair.
Business License
Dealers and Artists are responsible for obtaining a temporary business license from the City of Portland. Dealers and Artists who already own a business license in the state of Oregon will not need to obtain a temporary Portland business license. Furlandia does not need a copy of the license.
